This 1940s family home breathes new life with a 2020s total renovation that accentuates its original charm. Our team made small tweaks like removing an unused back stair, enclosing a side porch, and re-routing the attic stairs to create valuable extra square footage without actually increasing the footprint. The result is a more spacious version of the home’s original layout. To further highlight this home’s charm, existing woodwork was maintained (or matched, when needed), original doors & hardware were salvaged for reuse, and windows were rehabbed instead of replaced. The application of polished and cool finishes, paired with rich wood tones, is a fresh finishing touch to celebrate the original character this family has always loved.
